Privacy Policy
This page explains what this review site does with information about you. The site is an independent guide to Casinacho and other online casinos. It does not accept bets, it does not hold player accounts, and it does not ask you to create one. That keeps the data we handle small, and we want to describe it plainly.
What this policy covers
The policy applies to the pages of this review site only. It does not apply to the casino, bookmaker or payment provider that you reach through a link here. Each of those companies runs its own sign-up, verification and marketing, and each has its own privacy notice that you should read before you hand over personal details.
We wrote the site for adults living in Australia. If you are under 18 you should not be reading gambling reviews, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Information we collect
Most visitors give us nothing beyond what a browser sends automatically: IP address, device type, browser version, the page you asked for, the page you came from and the time of the request. Our hosting provider records this in server logs so that the site stays online and so that abuse can be traced.
If you write to us through a contact option, we also receive your name or email address and the content of your message. We only get that data when you choose to send it. We never ask for passwords, card numbers, bank details or identity documents, and you should never send them to us.
How we use it
Server logs help us fix errors, block automated scraping and understand which reviews are being read. Messages are used to answer your question, correct a mistake in a review or investigate a complaint about a bonus description. We do not build advertising profiles of individual readers and we do not sell contact details.
Anonymous, aggregated figures such as visits per page and the share of readers on mobile guide what we update first. When a casino changes its bonus conditions, pages with the most readers get re-checked sooner.
Cookies and outbound links
The site uses a small number of cookies for basic function and anonymous traffic measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the pages will still load. Some reviews contain buttons that lead to the operator's site. Those links can carry a tracking code so that the operator knows the visit started here.
Once you click through, the operator's own cookies and data practices apply. We have no control over them and no access to what you do there.
Storage and retention
Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised. Emails are kept for as long as it takes to resolve your enquiry, plus a reasonable time in case the same issue comes back. We store data with reputable hosting and email providers and restrict access to the people who maintain the site.
Your rights and contact
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it when we no longer need it. Use the contact option on this site and tell us which email address you used so that we can find your message.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We will update this page when our practices change, and the date of the latest revision stays visible to readers.
